The Project:

The project addressed two key themes:

(a) Key issues in (e)learning: Cross-cultural perspectives on current educational practices, with particular reference to tertiary level, online education in China.

(b) Aspects of the regulatory environment: Addressing Quality Assurance and Intellectual Property Rights in elearning programmes.

This associated site provides an overview of findings. Our intention is to provide a useful resource base for those working, or hoping to work on collaborative educational projects with colleagues in China.

Overarching Research Information Site

The HEFCE eChina-UK Overarching Research Project involved a two year collaboration between staff at the University of Nottingham and Beijing Foreign Studies University. This site presents material that draws upon that research. A fuller report has been lodged with our funders, HEFCE.
